Sanctuary Covenant Church intentionally creates a welcoming and safe place to explore our church community and your walk with God.  The word 'sanctuary' evokes an image of 'safe' and 'sacred' place and that defines who we are.

Our culture and focus is best explained through 4 words:

We know its tough to step into a new church for the first time,  So we make it easier.  Sunday morning services begin at 11:00 am.  Grab a coffee on your way in and sit at one of our bistro tables.  Sunday mornings include a worship experience, a message that feels like a conversation in Starbucks and an opportunity to hear from God. There is also a kid’s program - Adventureland - during the service.

Our services and activities are designed to make connecting with God and others easier.  We sit at bistro tables to encourage discussion, provide opportunities to worship together, times for discussion before, during or after the message and snacks and coffee for post-service interaction.  Take your time to get comfortable or jump right in.

As SCC becomes home, we invite you to be involved in ways that fit your unique strengths, gifts and abilities.  Not sure what those are?  We can help you begin to discover the unique way you can contribute your skills to our community.

Being part of our community - both neighbourhood and Edmonton wide - is important to us.  As we actively participate in community life, we invite you to come along.  We are involved in a variety of ways and some of our favourites are the larger events we put on at Christmas, Easter, Block Party and fall event.
